About the Speakers
Dr. Torsten Brammer
Dr. Torsten Brammer boasts over three decades of expertise in solar energy, holding a Ph.D. in Physics and Solar Cell Science. His academic career includes research positions at the Jülich Research Center (Germany), the Australian National University, and the KAIST Institute (South Korea). In 2004, he joined Q-Cells, where he spearheaded the launch of a thin-film module spin-off. He later played a pivotal role in the development of SENEC's next-generation storage unit, successfully acquired by EnBW, one of Germany’s largest utilities. In 2011, he co-founded Wavelabs, which has since become the global leader in LED-based solar simulators. Dr. Brammer served as CEO from the company's inception until 2022 and continues to advise Wavelabs on strategic matters. Currently, he is the founder and host of the podcast "The Solar Journey" and also serves as a consultant to the solar industry and start-ups.
Dr. Antonio Cabas Vidani
Dr. Antonio Cabas Vidani is a Product Manager at FLUXiM AG, specializing in thin-film photovoltaics. He holds a Master’s degree in Materials and Process Engineering from the University of Trieste, and earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich, where he focused on improving thin-film photovoltaic materials like kesterite. During his Ph.D., Antonio authored several papers and collaborated with international partners.
He joined FLUXiM in 2021 as an Application Scientist, quickly mastering simulation tools like Setfos. Now managing Litos Lite, Antonio uses his strong academic background to help researchers optimize solar cell technologies.
Dr. Daniele Braga
This webinar, hosted by Dr. Daniele Braga of Fluxim, promises to be a blend of detailed scientific exploration and practical simulation applications. Dr. Daniele Braga holds a PhD in Materials Science and leads the Sales and Marketing team at FLUXiM AG.
His primary interest lies in emerging photovoltaics, specifically perovskite PVs. Dr. Braga has an extensive scientific background combined with business development expertise.
