About the Speakers
Dr Christian Wolff
Dr. Christian Wolff is a distinguished physicist and group leader at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). With expertise in perovskite solar cells, spectroscopy (including ultrafast techniques), and process automation, Dr. Wolff's research focuses on advancing the efficiency and stability of tandem solar cells, setting new benchmarks in photovoltaics.
Dr. Wolff holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Potsdam, where he specialized in halide perovskite solar cells. He completed his M.Sc. in Physics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, focusing on nanoparticular photocatalysts for water splitting. His academic journey also includes a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship at EPFL.
With 74 publications, over 7,000 citations, and numerous prestigious awards such as the Carl-Ramsauer-Preis from the Physical Society of Berlin, Dr. Wolff has significantly impacted the field of emerging photovoltaics. Beyond research, he is a passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion, and global scientific collaboration.
Dr. Daniele Braga
This webinar, hosted by Dr. Daniele Braga of Fluxim, promises to be a blend of detailed scientific exploration and practical simulation applications. Dr. Daniele Braga holds a PhD in Materials Science and leads the Sales and Marketing team at FLUXiM AG.
His primary interest lies in emerging photovoltaics, specifically perovskite PVs. Dr. Braga has an extensive scientific background combined with business development expertise.
