Dr. Jonathon Schrecengost

Dr. Jonathon Schrecengost is an OLED product engineer at OLEDWorks, where he contributes to the development and production of cutting-edge organic light-emitting diode technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State University, where his research focused on optical measurement techniques, organic optoelectronics, and theoretical modeling. His academic work spanned topics including Faraday rotation in thin films, the optical properties of 2D metals, and device fabrication using high-vacuum thermal evaporation. Prior to his doctoral studies, Jonathon earned his bachelor’s degree in Physics at Penn State Behrend, graduating with honors and completing minors in Chemistry, Computer Science, Astrophysics, and Mathematics. Jonathon combines hands-on engineering expertise with deep theoretical knowledge, and his work has contributed to several publications in the fields of photovoltaics and organic electronics.
